Chris Kirk locked up his 2011 PGA Tour card placing 2nd on the 2010 Nationwide Tour money list. He won the 2010 Ft. Smith Classic and Knoxville Open in his most successful year as a professional. In total, he had seven Top-10 finishes and made over $410,000. Kirk is poised to make an immediate impact in his rookie year on the PGA Tour.
In 2007, Kirk made over $88,000 on the Nationwide Tour. His best finish (runner-up) came at the Knoxville Open where his -19 score of 269 landed him in a playoff. Kirk played in four PGA Tour events in 2008, making the cut at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, the AT&T Classic, and the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.
A standout while at University of Georgia, Chris won the 2007 Ben Hogan Award which is given annually to the nation’s top collegiate golfer. He also holds the school record with seven individual titles. In 2007, Chris was a part of the victorious United States Walker Cup team.
